Core - CHEK Bridge Level I
 

All athletes need a strong core - period! This level 1 bridge exercise is a great start to getting it!


  


  

TITLE: CHEK Bridge Level 1

BODY REGION: Abdominals

FOCUS: Balance,Core

Muscle Group: Core

POSITION:

1. Start in a push up position with feet elevated on the bench.
2. Maintain Neutral Spine with belly button drawn inward.

MOVEMENT:

1. Raise one arm out to the front.
2. Hold the position and return to start position.

TIPS:

Keep good alignment

TRAINER NOTES:

Due to the high Core and Balance demands of this exercise do not start your client with alot of Repetition s initially.

Observe for loss of Neutral Spine or protrusion of the belly button indicating loss of deep abdominal wall activation.
