Planning Form

The following information will assist in planning training until the end of the 2003/2004 Track Season.

If you are completing this form online the Training Calendar may help.

The questions are in several groups :

(1) An indication of whether you belong to a club or are willing to register for one .

(2) The Inter School events in which you are interested. The options are as follows:

A     "Kilbirnie" Road Relays

B     Round Virginia Lake Relay (Wanganui)

C     Wellington Road Championships (Westpac Trust Stadium)

D     NZSS Track and Field Nationals (Invercargill)

E     McEvedy Shield

F     Regionals

G     North Islands (Inglewood)

(3) The Club based events in which you are interested. The options are as follows:

A     NZCC Nationals (Taraunga)

B     Regular Club Road Races

C     NZ Road Championships (Wellington)

D     NZ Road Relay Championships (Fielding)

E     Wellington Road Championships

F     Regular Track Races

G     Track Series (if any) Races

H     National 3000m Championships

I     North Island Colgate Games (Hastings)

J     South Island Colgate Games)

K     Wellington and/or Regional Track Championships

L     NZ Track and Field Nationals

(4)  The track events which you consider to be your main events. You can choose several but don't be frivolous.

(5) Training times Term Three and Term Four 2003/Term One 2004. Indicate all times at which you would be available. You can use the comment box at the bottom to indicate your preferred times.

(6) Other activities. List other activities (include day and time) which are likely to effect your training eg: other sports practices and games.

(7) Season Goals. These goals may be times you would like to run, placings you would like to achieve at events like the Nationals or other more general goals eg: improve technique.

(8) Longer term athletics goals (the next few years)

(9) Any other relevant information you have to contribute.
